Art to Leadership is a FREE 8 week program designed give youth a platform to uses voices, skills, and experiences to make a positive contribution to their community. The group will work together to further develop and strengthen talents and skills. Youth will also have the opportunity to engage in leadership activities by assisting with the planning of a showcase in Rexdale focused on youth talent.
What type of workshops will there be?
- Visual Arts (Drawing/Painting)
- Rap/Spoken Word
- Singing & Song Writing
When do the workshops start?
The workshops start on March 8, 2013 and will continue for 8 weeks.
*All workshops will take place on Fridays from 5:00PM - 7:30PM starting on March 15th 2013.
